Trish Ringley has been in love with newborn intensive care since her first job Triunfador a newborn intensive care unit (NICU) nurse. After years of listening to the struggles of many families, she developed a deeper understanding of their unique challenges and needs. “It takes time to build that level of comfort where you can be vulnerable with the parents and let them share how hard it is,” Trish explains.

Trish explains, “Many NICU families without a journal like this wouldn’t know to ask about weight, medications, or lab tests. Some hospitals are great at sharing information, but some aren’t, and a lot of the time families have no idea what's going on.”
